Pruning and trimming

Dead branches, limbs over the roof, clearing from wires and structural pruning.

We remove dead wood, branches rubbing the roof and limbs leaning over the driveway. We thin the crown so wind can pass through.

The City forbids removing more than half of a tree's living branches, and forbids topping. We prune with that in mind. A topped tree grows back weak and becomes more dangerous over time.

For branches near Hydro-Québec power lines, call before touching anything. Some work requires the utility to step in.
