When there is room, the tree is felled in one piece in a controlled direction. Near a house, pool or fence, we take it down in sections with ropes.
Before cutting a tree 10 cm or more in diameter, you need an authorization certificate from the City of Gatineau. In some cases the zoning by-law also requires a replacement tree. We explain the process and what you need to provide.
The wood can be cut into logs and left on site, or all hauled away. Tell us when you ask for the quote.
